Crime Scene Botanicals

Long ago the court wouldn't allow the people that works with plants and or collects plants for evidence wasn't able to be used cause there's so many plants around the world, how were they going to be able to identify where the person was at the time of the crime. For an example two kids were found buried under a tree and the people found seeds in the kids stomach and when they found out that the seeds were poisonous. The stepfather called a missing report to the police and they got the man sentenced two life sentence because the seeds on the blanket and the seeds on the father was a match. He even lied his way out saying he had these types of seeds on this farm he owned and none was to be found. Now a days they use plants to use in court unless it doesn't have anything to do with the crime. (i got this information from this site http://www.botany.org/planttalkingpoints/crime.php#Milne) (I got the image from http://www.cbclearning.ca/media/catalog/product/cache/6/image/800x600/17f82f742ffe127f42dca9de82fb58b1/Z/Z/ZZY-09-07_450__1.jpg) My opinion of Forensic Botany, well it isn't the greatest job in the world because you don't get to use some of the evidence you get from crime scenes if it deals with plants in court.

Forensic Black Powder

Forensic people use black powder to get fingerprints of surfaces that need to be collected. The powder is made of "black carbon or charcoal." Its easy to make a mess with it since it comes out very fast. It's easier to use along with other tools to collect those hard to see fingerprints.

The words black carbon or charcoal came from this website http://www.bxscience.edu/publications/forensics/articles/fingerprinting/f-fing03.htm
I got this image from this site http://avant-gardex.com/images/isimages/MOFS-1-0301.jpg

My opinion of Forensic Black Powder is interesting, I never knew they would use this to collect fingerprints I thought they used just the special tape.

Video Presentations -- Crime Scene Investigator Network#1#1#1#1#1#1#1

Video Presentations -- Crime Scene Investigator Network#1#1#1#1#1#1#1

These videos shows how to get fingerprints of any surface, even the ground.

My opinion on getting fingerprints from this video is bizarre for most people but interesting to me, i like to learn anything crime scenes. This topic catches my eye.

Ballistics

Ballistics is an area in the crime scene world, they figure out how fast an object goes or if it mechanical like bullets, gravity bombs, and rockets. They have a huge role in everything that if they make a small mistake the whole thing could be missed up so they take many years of practice to get it right.

I got this image from google http://beaudaniels.com/Technical-images/ballistics.jpg

My opinion of ballistics, is that it doesn't look to easy to do, takes many hours of the day even at the crime scene. I think its a rewarding job in the long run. In my opinion ballistics could be fun.

Autopsy

I know when you hear the word Autopsy you think dead body which is pretty much true. When they don't know the cause of death of someone they do an Autopsy to see the cause of death, like if it was a heart attack or poison. In the Autopsy room they cut the body open to check out the organs then once they find the cause of death they report it to the forensic people or to the police.

http://www.pathguy.com/lectures/autopsy2.jpg this is where i got the image from, on google.

My opinion of autopsy is, it seems gross, I wouldn't want to have that job, but i do see that it helps figure out the cause of death. I probably would prefer to go to the scene and collect evidence. This isn't the greatest job in  the world but it could help you become a doctor if you want to be.

Blood Splatter

I know most people have that fear of seeing blood, so they stay back from that area, well in the crime scene world you'll be seeing a lot of blood where ever you go. When some one gets shot they tend to leave a trail of blood or a blood splatter of where they got hit. So when that happens like there's a killer on the loose killing people from left and right and they use a gun the body tends to leave blood splatter of where the bullet hit them, so they call in people who has dealt with that and there called Blood splatter analysts. They have a huge job becomes they have to figure the angles of where the person got hit and how far the shooter was, not an easy job to do.
http://www.freeppt.net/background/blood-splatter-131.html its where i got my picture from.

My opinion of this is that its interesting how an object can cause so much damage, but yet leave a unique marking like blood splatter, some people faint at the sight of blood but its not all that bad really.

The Criminal Brain: A View from the Bench - Dana Foundation

The Criminal Brain: A View from the Bench - Dana Foundation

My opinion of this website is wow, this person knows and can almost tell what a criminal might think, there motive and all. If i could meet this person I would, I would have multiple question ask, for example why do you think a criminal would does this crime but not another? This website is pretty amazing.

Looking into Criminal's minds

Don't you ever wonder what was going through the person's mind? Why they did what they did? What cause that trigger to cause him to do a serious high crime? This section is going to show you what went through a criminal's mind. Some people say its just how there up bring was and the abuse and some people just say its a disorder and they cant help it. Some criminals have multiple personalities that they change from like for example in the TV show criminal minds an man had three personalities, one of himself, his father, and an archangel, he had no issue of killing those people when he was the archangel and the abuse part from his father but most of the time it just cant be explain why criminals do what they do. All we know is what they do is wrong and should be punish for what they have done.

Got information from TV show Criminal Minds and the picture got from http://www.google.com/ and the  website is from http://www.dana.org/news/cerebrum/detail.aspx?id=1354
My opinion of looking into a criminal's mind is interesting, I wouldn't even know what to begin with like questions and see what makes them so mad or upset that they cause to do wrong. Sometimes I do understand that they have a mental disability so they cant help it but I also do see that the ones who know what there doing should be more in the wrong.

Crime Scene (clean up crew)

The people that come in after the crime scene is done and cleared, they call in the specialist for that job to clean up any tear gas, blood, body fluids, and much more. They have a serious risk to get diseases when they come in to clean up the mess. They use different chemicals to clean up the mess and so it's easier to make the people that lived in that house come back in. The people that clean up the mess are certified. The biggest company that handle these jobs is Accelerated BioScene Crime Scene Clean Up.

Cleaning up Crime Scene
Got information and images from http://www.google.com/  and http://www.acceleratedbioscenecleanup.com/

Lets see, my opinion of the clean up crew is amazing, they have the trickiest job to do, the reason I say its hard is because they use special chemicals and when spilled it could cause damage, so they have to be extra careful. Without these people there would be loads of crimes not being cleaned up.

Crime Scene (forensics)

There's many parts for a Crime Scene, there's the victim, the killer, the people that seen it happen, the police, and many more. People that you see carrying heavy cases full of equipment are the Forensic people, they come to collect items from the scene like the weapon, unknown items under the dead person's finger nails etc. They do a lot of hard work, and it takes hours to think about why, how, when, this happen. So they collect this information to find the killer and bring justice for that family. They have the biggest job to help solve crimes around the world, so without them the crimes of hard cold cases wouldn't be able to be solved.

Got image from http://www.google.com/

My opinion on just the Forensic part of the crime scene is phenomenal, they do so much to get the evidence that they need. I would say just caring a suitcase of equipment would be super heavy but to them its natural of doing it.

Why I Chose Crime Scene for my blog

The reason I chose Crime Scene for my blog is because you see it everyday, its all around, and some times you cant believe what was going through that person's mind and what was there motive for that doing that  wrong doing. I also see it as showing what the jobs could be like and what type of fields are consists of working with Crime Scenes. There is a huge history of it and many tv shows that show what its like to work with Criminals.
